What types of Cookies do we use?


ULearn uses the two following cookies: 

  • MoodleSession: This cookie maintains the user’s login from page to page. When  the user logs out  from Moodle or closes the browser this cookie is destroyed.
  • MOODLEID : This cookie enables the browser to remember the user username, and allows the username to be filled  automatically in the next visit to the site.


Managing Cookies


If you want to use ULearn the MoodleSession cookie is essential. The MOODLEID cookie can be refused. You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
